Leaving Germany

I quite like Germany - particularly Munich in the area known as Bavaria. Maybe its because I like pork and the Bavarians know their way around a pig like few others. I like beer too....and they are very good with beer.

But they also like goose, duck and I think reindeer! They like liver and other odds and sods. When I had lunch the other day there was a bowl of puffed pork rinds to snack on instead of peanuts.

Munich sits in what from the air looks like an old river delta or lake bottom not far from the moutains. We are crossing the moutains now on our way to Spain (so get your globe out kids so you can see where I am going).
