Van Gogh's death

This is the restaurant and lodging that Vincent Van Gogh stayed in and
died in. He was bipolar and during a manic phase he painted 80
pictures in 70 days and then shot himself in the chest. He didn't die
immediately and got Himself back to his room at this tavern and died
two days later in his room with his brother by his side. It has been
untouched ever since. We saw it. He died in 1890. The village in which
he ended his life at 47 is lovely and peaceful after the bustle of
Paris which is also why he left Paris.
