Sunday afternoon 17 stories above Los Angeles

I am in the Penthouse restaurant of a round hotel tower overlooking
Bel Air, UCLA, the San Diego freeway and in the distance the Pacific
Ocean.

In the restaurant there is a small group doing covers - they are quite good.
A dreadknought, bass, keyboards and light percussion.

It's pretty cool sitting here watching over this immense city with
music instead of the roar of traffic like in NYC.

Go onto google maps, view the satellite images to see how huge this
city is. It goes on forever across an old river delta. Pretty
awesome.
